Voting in a Democracy
What we live in, here in USA, is not a true democracy. If it were, everyone would automatically be registered to vote for life, when acquiring identification or drivers license. It would be illegal to ask a persons political affiliation or preference, just as its illegal to use religion to categorize citizens. A real democracy would never allow states to restrict voters to one party or another based on weather they are registered republican or democrat. This is a blatant violation of everything democracy is supposed to mean and only serves to restrict our options and eliminate populists who are loved by all political groups, and how we end up with morally and socially out of touch elitists and liars, bought and paid for by the richest corporations on the planet, as candidates in the primary.
